Back to Blogging.

So the reason I havent been keeping up with my blog is because I got another new job (this time its permanent) and I have had no time to post.  Or at least that was the last thing I wanted to do is get on my computer after work. I will try to do better from now on.  However, I have been writing things down in my journal because I wanted to make sure that all the interesting things that have been going on in my life and learned about were written somewhere.  So I will probably be working off last weeks list this weekend.  But enough about that.  Since work has been my life recently I figured I would go ahead post the fashion label I am a sales rep and executive assistant for.  I will post a few links but there is this thing called google so you can get real creepy. I will post again soon. I am off the bed and excited about meeting with WWD (Women's Wear Daily) at their offices tomorrow to show them the collection! Night Ya'll!

JB knows hows to please a women

As if Taylor Swift wasn't enough of young hollywood taking over our lives this week (or at least my blog posts)... Well folks, I have another one for you.
Normally I wouldn't blog about two childish topics in a row because I would rather not expose my weird interest to the public but the fact that this is so random and has to do with two of my favorite things in the world... I would feel like a lier and a cheater if I didn't share this information with others!
Yes, you heard it right (probably on e! News 10 times by now)-- 2 of my favorite things in the world: Justin Bieber and Fingernail Polish are joining forces together. (Wait 3 of my favorite things: Wal Mart too.) Read the Article
BASICALLY:  Bieber’s nail polishes will hits Walmart stores exclusively in December, then expand to other retailers by February. The launch of the One Less Lonely Girl collection will come around the same time as the debut of a line of lifelike Justin Bieber dolls that play 30-second clips of his songs.
I hope his face is on the bottles. MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ME!!!!!

T- Swift

She’s back… well she never really went anywhere. She’s just been busy writing corning love songs about magical fairy’s, little princesses, and how her heart was broken by the Jonas Brothers for her new album “Speak Now” which hits stores October 25.
You can download Taylors new single “Speak Now,” which is already on the top of the charts and pre-order the whole album which features 14 tracks all written solely by Taylor.  What can I say? She’s a superstar!

Book of the Week.

TRUE PREP by Lisa Birnbach
I've been wanting to get this since working on the Tommy Hilfiger account at Laird + Partners.  We used THE OFFICIAL PREPPY HANDBOOK for research for our Fall Campaign which is the original version of the new one.
NEW BOOK is on the left and the OLD BOOK is on the right.

Taking Flight to Vegas

So flying can honestly be one of the most miserable experiences sometimes, right?  Flights get delayed, layovers, terrible service, overbooking, HAVING TO PAY TO CHECK YOUR BAG!?!? --I mean really? Its can be so exhausting at times that you wonder why they even call it vacation. Sometimes the getting there and getting back ends up being more work.
I have nothing to complain about obviously, (I am getting to spend the weekend in Vegas) but sometimes we get so caught up in the little frustrations of life that we forget about---- well, LIFE and how blessed we are.
An hour ago I was so annoyed sitting on the floor in the Charlotte, North Carolina Airport responding to emails while I waited 5 hours to board my 2nd plane of the day for a 4 ½ hour flight.  All in all, It will have been an 11 hour trip today to Vegas!
Slowly dying from the man sitting next to me snoring in my ear (thankfully he doesn’t speak English so he can’t read this) and sleep deprivation, I opened up my window to see the most beautiful sunset.  Suddenly I didn’t care ho,w tired I was anymore or how badly I wanted to tell this short Italian man in his white kicks and jeans--- “You can sleep when your dead homeboy!” (I mean I’ve heard Italian food can make you sleepy, but dang there’s no way some noodles and a loaf of bread could put you in a state of snoring Acoma.
But back my point.
I know its so easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of everyday life and take for granted how lucky we are.  Im so guilty!! But Im trying to make it a new routine of taking at least 30 minutes a day to myself with no distractions to thank God for al the things, experiences, and people he has put in my life.
I just wanted to share my experience with you so maybe next time your in an airplane, driving down the road, or walking down the street (you really can be anywhere); You will take a moment to look around and realize how fortunate you are and how amazing God is!  It really does give you some peace of mind.
But I will close at that because in 30 minutes this bird is about to touch base in “Sin City” where there is a blackjack table awaiting my arrival. Don’t judge me. I look at gambling as a form of charity. If it weren’t for idiots like me, Vegas wouldn’t exist…You can think me later! Happy Weekend Readers!
