Gift Guide: Under $30.

via
Christmas is probably my favorite time of the year. There is nothing I love more than going to all the stores during the holidays and checking out all the cool stuff to blow your money on! The part that makes me the most sad is when people dread going Christmas shopping because they struggle finding the perfect gift.
This is where my expertise comes in. Shopping for other people (aka: gift giving) can be a pretty grueling process because people are picky these days (I'm guilty). Not to mention retailers love to overwhelm us with so many options. (It's called competition-- but im not mad about it.)
So in hopes to make your christmas shopping a little less stressful, I'm going to start a little "Gift Guide" series of posts that breaks down all of my favorite finds right now. (However if you need someone to do all your Christmas shopping for you-- I am your girl. Now I just have to figure out how to turn this into a gig in NYC. (Awww - Spending someone elses money on cool stuff = Dream Job!) Anywho, stay tuned because more "Gift Guide" posts are in the works. One week until Christmas-- Shoppers start your engines!
GIFTS UNDER $30
(Who doesn't love Stila lip glaze? It is what they are known for. Just one of these (that is not much bigger) would normally cost $22. Such a steal! I actually bought one for myself when they first came out so I will be stocked for the year.)

Monogram Me.

As you have probably have already figured out by now... I love myself a good monogram. It's personal, preppy and made only for you. I would monogram everything I own and in my house if I wasn't scared that it would make people just feel uncomfortable and weird around me...So I'm going to hold off until I at least have a family and then I will just go wild decorating everything I buy for my future kiddies. I'm pretty sure I will have them decked out with monograms from their hair bows to their socks. God bless them on their first day of school. Ha... But since that isn't at least for 5 more years from now, here are some of my favorite monogramed things and a little inspiration I found online.

HAPPY MONDAY!!!

Book of the Week.

So I've been doing a little Christmas shopping online.. Okay not a little (A Lot), but I blame it on Gilt. Anyways, I just bought this book for my boyfriend for Christmas and received it in the mail today at work. It basically the classic cocktail bible. Its has simple instructions and anything and everything can be looked up in the index. If you can come up with a drink you want to make, you can find it and about 15 other version for every persons taste and personality.  It was on Gilt for $50 but the sale is already down, however you can buy it on Pottery Barn for a full price of $75. It really would make a great gift for the guy you don't know what else to buy for them and if they are not interested in the recipes or learning the craft of mixing drinks, it would still look so classy on your coffee table or displayed in your bookshelf. You really cant go wrong with this book....Everyone likes a fancy drink- or needs one after a long week of work. Below are other great gifts ideas that I bought to wrap up with the book.

Price: $75

Price: $30

And one last gift idea just because I couldn't leave out is this festive serving set...

Sabre- Old Fashioned Accessory Set (3 pc)
